Project is intended to follow-up and to consolidate the activities of the previous phase of the Danida support, and thereby ensure that Aswan water and sanitation company  is equipped to take advantage of the expected and ongoing sector reforms, which should enable it to become a viable and self-sustaining water utility. The project has six main outputs which are listed below along with the main activities that will be carried out under each output: 1. Management Information System 2. Customer Service Centers (CSC) 3. Improved Operation and Maintenance System 4. Reduction of O&M costs 5. Rehabilitation of Rural Networks based on Cost Sharing 6. Improved Sanitary Conditions Chemonics Egypt had carried with Management Information System activity which targeted to establish a fully integrated system covering all three sectors (Aswan, Kom Ombo and Edfu) to provide the Aswan water and sanitation company management with accurate up-to-date data relating to financial, commercial and technical matters. Also supply new hardware, software and end user training to ensure system sustainability.
